Jaime Almaraz

Jaime was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas, where he still calls home today, and enjoys helping
families in the community achieve the dream of homeownership. He got into the industry after
his friend and current branch manager, JoAnna Camposano, invited him to work as a Loan
Officer. With JoAnna's orientation to the business, he quickly excelled and became a licensed
Loan Officer in August of 2017. After a few years of working beside her part-time and learning
from her expertise, he took the leap going full time in June 2020.

Jaime has thrived in the industry because he loves helping families get into a home. He enjoys
educating clients and helping them realize homeownership is not out of reach. The happiness
and gratitude they express while going through the process and after signing for the home, is
priceless. His prior experience as an LO helped him learn about different loan products, such as
FHA, Conventional, USDA, VA, and DPA programs, giving him the ability to find solutions for
each client's unique situation. He explains the difference between each option in detail, so they
are prepared to make the best decision to fit their needs.

Recently, the team joined Fairway Independent Mortgage, taking full advantage of the
company's opportunities. For Jaime, the most appealing facts about Fairway Mortgage are their
business process structure, training, administration guidance, and feeling cared for and part of
the family. Jaime extends this family atmosphere by making himself available 24/7 for his
clients and partners. People work all types of schedules and need questions answered outside
of the typical M-F 9 am-6 pm hours. He goes the extra mile, taking appointments over the
weekend and from 6-9 pm M-F for those that can only see him during their time off. Jaime is
passionate about helping people and has always worked in a capacity that helps people in one
way or another.

When Jaime is not working, he loves to travel and explore the world with the family. They are
avid campers, love the outdoors, and frequently hit the open road in their 1984 VW Vanagon
camper bus. They spend as much time as possible with family and friends, having BBQs and
dinners out and about town. But, his greatest joy is raising his boys and nephew to be hardworking
and productive gentlemen with strong Christian morals and ethics.
